we have clouds as we look up the hudson river here. it is a nice fall day. up toward the hudson riverheaded on up toward poughkeepsie and a lot of barges this time of year making their way up the hudson river and the east river, taking home heating oil in anticipation of the winter coming. we're looking at cloudy skies, and kind of a nice fall afternoon. these are clouds out ahead of the rain that is coming. the rain holds off until tomorrow. until tomorrow these clouds are in advance of that. it's 58 degrees, dry humidity, east wind at 6. that pressure is way up there. if the remnants of patricia were not off to our south throwing these clouds up in here, we'd have a perfectly nice fall day. hopatcong is at 50, 55 here at hackettstown at centenary college, 59 around hanover and looking up to 55 at white plains to 52 around poughkeepsie. these numbers are right at or maybe a couple degrees cooler than normal. there's rain down to our south. it will keep slowly creeping into the d. c. area. we're looking at this rain extending back to memphis and down to l. a
