might look like, your center of circulation running over long island and then getting up into the hudson valley and slowing down a little bit. that's where it becomes more of a rain issue. this is slow down and weaken rather quickly once it gets on land, but it will bring a lot of moisture with it, and i think flooding could continue to be a problem. as it moves that direction, it is going to bring a wall of water on the high end. some of these storm surges, as high as five feet, but you see a very wide area here along long island, and then across southern new england where you will see two to four feet and three to five feet at some of the higher locations. and then i did mention of course that rain. you start to see some of these red -- that's going to be easily three to six inches, but there are definitely areas where we will see ten inches of rain. this is one possible forecast model. i will bring in another forecast model here, and you are seeing fairly similar location, so maybe new york city getting close to that, but not right on it. those deep reds on long island getting up to 10 inche
