joining us live now to share more is xavier buck, executive director of the doctor, huey p newton foundation black panther party museum in oakland. good morning to you. good morning. alright, thanks so much for being with us here. bright and early coming from oakland. tell us a bit about the museum. >> yeah. so we just found the black panther party museum last and really get in to fill the void. it's pretty well known in the gym eyes now that the fbi had a program to discredit, disrupt and destroy black leaders. this included people like martin luther king junior include a rosa parks. i also included folks like up noon and bobby seale in pretty much every single panther that was part of the party. and so part of that boy, part of campaign that the fbi had with the spread misinformation. and so later, this year will be celebrating 50 a year since the black panther party was founded. and there's still a lot of misinformation. so now we have a museum where people come in. look at the information based on credible sources. a look at these archives and look at the exhibition's. we have to called
