laura: [laughter] i think this notion of disney plus plus hulu into a mega app is a good idea. make a mega app. those are much more competitive with netflix than standalone two different apps. on espn, they are talking to a lot of partners because they want to create a new espn streaming app that cornered the market on sports streaming. i am intrigued by who that might be, whether it is amazon or apple or verizon. they said it might be marketing support or distribution support or rights. i am very intrigued by espn. that is a little longer, he said at earliest that will be 2024-2025 launch. i am interested in a disney plus hulu super app. ed: where is the innovation story with disney? what makes disney a technology company if at all? laura: it is not, it is a content company and content is not working. content is the engine. what disney does best is drive theme park attendance, consumer product attendance, when your tv bundles, streaming subscription revenue. it drives everything. avatar, marvel, star wars. it is a content company, not a technology company. ed: laura martin bri

and now disney is taking full control of hulu. as an investor, are you in favor of that movie?'s hugely expensive, but i think it's an important piece in terms of their distribution. the key for disney on the streaming business is getting the bundling right between hulu, disney+, and espn to make it attractive. disney has been trying to figure out what is the relationship between spending and how much they're going to charge for the service. i think they're coming around. i'm expecting another cut in the pace of the losses in that business. >> it seems like you have a lot of questions about bob iger's best move. looking at disney, right now do you think it's valued correctly? are you looking to trim, add, just stay where you are? >> i think it's a buy here. if you look at ebitda, they're talking about a multiple of 11 times. netflix is trading high teens. so there's a wide gap between the two. plus with disney, you have the benefit of the gem of their parks business, which as i mentioned is about two-thirds of their ebitda with north of 30% tight margins. >> so as julia boorsti
