i took 22 units in a semester in college and maintained employment at the university in humboldt state and ran a program for veterans on the side. after graduating december 2011, i struggled finding employment even though i was a community organizer in a rural area and performed a lot of different activities, i always got categorized because i was a former infantry man. they told me you are pretty good for law enforcement or security and nothing else. with that, on my employment prospects were very narrow and i didn't know what i can actually do for gainful employment. upon graduating i ended up in an argument with my roommate and ended up couch is surfing for a number of months. the only thing i had was my pension from the va. i was good enough to have a good support system of friends that i didn't end up on the streets. it took about 8 months before i found my first job and before that i wasn't seeking treatment and i ended up self medicating and getting in trouble and losing my employment because of it. i ended up in a pretty bad cyclical repeat of unemployment with an additional du

and the main action has been focused up to the north and a few lightning strikes detected out to humboldtounty and well offshore. this is the radar loop over the past six hours. this is our live camera looking out over the golden gate bridge. wet roadways and probably accumulating water on the roadways. we'll get rid of that and show you pattern. those yellows and orange correspond to moderate downpours. could be heavier cells as well. steady rain up in the north bay. petaluma sonoma, st. helena. as you can see, closer to oakland and san leandro, those rainfall rates have been picking up especially out towards la fayette and we'll continue to tour the bay. they are covered with the green there, indicating light rain showers. the heavier amounts are out to palo alto andwoodwood side. not as much south. basically dry in morgan hill and gilroy. things are more active closer to the coastline and the san mateo coastline and right around half moon bay. as far as forecast totals, we're expecting about .25 to possibly an inch in the wettest locations. we'll have more on the timing of this system
