police spoke with several witnesses and found the suspect walking a few blocks over on humboldt streethe allegedly rode off on a bicycle after the attack. the victim was taken to the hospital. his age and condition has not been released. police say they are searching for surveillance footage of the incident. new at noon, sexual assault survivor suing uber or touting a victory in a long legal battle. hundreds of women have filed lawsuits against uber, alleging the company hasn't done enough to protect passengers from sexual assault. now a judge has ruled that about 80 of those cases can be joined together in federal court. they'll be heard in the northern district of california. the incidents range from alleged groping to kidnaping and rape by uber drivers in at least 16 states. the plaintiffs attorneys say there could be more than 10,000 victims as the company's response has been nothing but slow and inadequate. while uber has publicly acknowledged this sexual assault crisis, including the publication of its us safety report inz december of 2019, ubr has failed to implement basic safet
