and low humidity. the fire danger has increased. and there's a red flag warning as a result of that from noon to 8:00 p.m. across the entire area. and these are the current winds, sustained at 21 miles per hour in philadelphia. 17 in wilmington, 16 in coatesville, and in atlantic city. that's the wind issue. now, as we go into south jersey, one of the areas that's most vulnerable to fires, you can see, the relative humidity is extremely low, especially in the interior from places less than 30% and will be going down even more as we go through the afternoon. medford, only 33%. oswego lake, 33%. carlfield, only 28%. the low humidity, the dry ground and winds create the problem. well, we're warm, but not quite as warm as we have been. the temperatures, 82 yesterday. about 77 for the high temperature today. there is cooler air starting tomorrow. we'll see how long that lasts and when we get much needed rain with the forecast in just a few minutes. >> all right, thank you, glenn. today, new jersey officials

it is quite humid outside as well. so if you are stepping out, you're going to notice the dew point is up and humidity is high. what we can expect later on in philadelphia and the burbs and south jersey, lehigh valley and delaware, the temperatures will be climbing. we're looking for a high in philadelphia close to 70 degrees. and the possibility of some shower activity will continue and then clear out midday. as we move closer to south jersey, however, showers lingering there into the late -- latter part of the day. 67 in the lehigh valley. again, showers for most of the saturday there. and temperatures climbing in delaware to 71 degrees. we do expect the showers to be moving out. so we're looking at radar right now. we see where the shower activity is. this is a pretty large system in terms of a low pressure system. a cold front moving through. but you can see that the rain is really broken apart and scattered. so it depends on where you are this morning whether or not you're getting the rain right now. we just have
