hyannis and hyannisport that heavy rain moving right toward you right now in the 26th 20 minutes. -- now in the next 20 minutes. at times pouring outside and during the morning commute shiri will be tracking these showers coming through the area. heavy downpours and likely thunder and lightning. seeing that to the west now no reason it can't translate into eastern new england tomorrow morning. these bright colors giving me a real good idea if there will be heavy rain and likely thunderstorms moving on through. here's the good news by 9:00, 10:00 most of the shower activity has gone. a few more showers in the afternoon because of the sunny breaks but by the evening right back to dry conditions which will persist into friday. winds are gusting out there. little bit. look at beverly 41 we've had some gusts over 40 miles per hour in southeastern new england. over 50 miles per hour in a couple spots in rhode island tonight as well. that's expected we expected some of those gusts to be over 50 overnight tonight through the morning tomorrow. that's why there can be some more damage imposed
