commissioner hyland? >> commissioner hyland: this came before the arc and commissioner pearlman and i heard it. the events that are important and significant in this building are close to home for me and i participated in some of them and went to services here and all kinds of lovely stuff, but the building really has no integrity left. and the project sponsor has done a phenomenal job at being very honest in evaluating this project in trying to figure out how best to make it work. i can't say that i've seen a case this honest before us, to try to make a case for why the proposed project is so much better. they've always tried to show why the preservation alternative is so horrible.
