i am not a parent. but i see and am anxious to work with the youth commission around some of the issues in my life. i believe the new generations to have a clear vision of what is coming and how to make things better, often. i am just going to say a bit about the milk club. i am their outreach coordinator and got them to join the alliance to save lives, to help advocate, another example of integrating in the fabric of the neighborhood. this year, i won the simeon white volunteer of the year award. it just proves that if you work harder, if you are more focused, and if you really concentrate on what it is you have a hand to accomplish, people do see that. they respond and are thankful. that is a great thing to be able to contribute to something like the harvey milk club. i also want to talk a little bit about my involvement in street fairs for the past six years. i have run several sections in the world of wonderment in the castro street fair, which is a community-based section of the fair. one of the rea

i am going to speak on behalf of victor nelson. he was an advocate for a year in 2010 with our program, and i facilitate the program. participants once a week do door knocking and sro hotels throughout the mission district and learn about san francisco tenant laws and the general case management skills and then do counseling with sri attendance throughout the mission district. i worked with victor for a year doing that. his experience living in an sro and being a case manager and having a background in social work and being a tenant advocate, he was an excellent participant in my program. he was able to guide tenants through the process, whether they had bedbugs, illegal eviction issues, or questions around ssi. he was able to work with tenants are given the right direction where they should go for assistance. he was recently asked to be in the urban habitat boards and commissions leadership institute. but specifically is urban habitat's way of culling leaders from communities of color and low income people and saying we want to giv
