i worked with people who had horrific sentences. fought two trials and appeals all the way to the supreme court. in 2014 i went to prison for a year and a half. i went to federal present camp. not like a level four. i am camp material. i would have got killed somewhere else. [laughter] >> is as much as i could do, and it was a lot. but i had two little girls. i missed them like crazy. we will talk about some of that. what i saw in prison, pham had always worked on sentencing reform. they could have used rehabilitation, sentencing, programming anything. they were getting nothing. when i got out, my predecessor wanted to retire. i said i want to get us into prison reform. once you start in the system, there are a lot of things that happen, a lot of reforms that bleed over into another. re-entry doesn't start when you come out, it starts when you go in. i am hoping to talk about that conversation. i am grateful to everybody here.
