ian pannell has the latest. ian, good morning. >> reporter: yeah, good morning, whit.right, the hunt is on for the missing submarine with 53 on board. it went missing wednesday during a torpedo drill where the indian ocean meets the bali sea. three submarines, five airplanes, and more than 20 warships now searching for the navy sub which disappeared after asking for permission to dive. there was an oil spill that could have come from the missing vessel. now, the navy insisting that it was fit for purpose even though it was built, get this, over 40 years ago. the authorities saying there's enough oxygen on board to last until saturday at 3:00 a.m. local, that's about 3:00 p.m. new york time. so the clock is ticking for the missing sub and a really anxious time for their families. whit? >> a race against time. ian pannell for us, thank you. michael? >>> we'll turn now to "ingenuity's" second flight. this morning, nasa's mars helicopter set to take off again for the red planet, and after the success of that first voyage, when we saw those iconic images sent back to earth,

ian pannell is in london with the latest. morning, ian. >> reporter: yeah, good morning, george. that's right. iran pointing the finger of blame directly as israel this morning, accusing it of sabotage and promising revenge. the blast at the nuclear site on sunday is believed to have dealt a severe blow to the country's ability to enrich uranium, and that's according to american and israeli intelligence sources speaking to "the times." now, iran's enemies accuse the country of wanting to enrich uranium to make nuclear weapons. this is something iran has consistently denied, and they say they know who's responsible for this incident, and they're calling it a terrorist attack. now the israelis making no comment as expected, but u.s. secretary of defense lloyd austin, who is in israel for meetings this morning, says he plans to reassure the israelis of america's commitment as a strategic partner. now, this isn't the first icident of its kind at that same facility, and it could risk derailing efforts this morning between the u.s.

ian pannell has the latest. >> reporter: a race against time.s morning, officials scrambling to prevent a listing cargo ship from sinking. this ship abandoned and flailing perilously in the north sea in 50-foot waves. tugboats racing to the site 50 miles off the coast of norway hoping to save the ship and prevent tons of oil spilling into the water. >> the plan is to lower a specialized group of people that will be trying to get on the ship and to connect the tow to tugboats. >> reporter: in this dramatic video, a dozen crew members hoisted to safety from the vessel that transports luxury yachts and boats around the world stranded in deep waters after the main engine lost power. one crew member forced to leap into the rough frigid surf, the water temperature in the low 40s. norwegian rescuers airlifting most of the crew to safety. rescuers now bracing themselves to battle dangerous winds and water to get the boat safely back to shore. >> there's still a substantial chance that the ship might capsize because the weather is still really bad. >> re
