this is ignacio valley road. pg&e is in the process of replacing a power pole that is bent over at a 45 degree angle. after they put anyone in place they will need to restore all of the power lines. until all of that is done, ignacio valley road between north pacific and walnut boulevard will be closed. the eastbound lanes, further away from that power paul power pole are supposed to open by 10 this morning. i do not know if they will stick to that timeline as we are about 20 minutes away from that at the westbound lanes are supposed to open by 11 am this morning. >> reporter: walnut creek police have been directing traffic at this intersection of walnut boulevard and ignacio all morning long. the pedestrians have been impacted as well. there is an elementary school nearby and this part of ignacio also has roads that cross over the creeks and many people use that to get across the creek to the bart station. >> i come here every day to use bart. >> reporter: pg&e workers and police were able to escort pedestrians
