lev parnas and igor fruman are the two men. in addition to the question of whether or not mayor giuliani was involved in a scheme for which his buddies have just been arrested, according to "the wall street journal," prosecutors are also looking at mayor giuliani's business dealings in the nation of ukraine, including his finances, his meetings, his work for a city mayor there? this investigation at sdny, it reportedly includes investigators looking at mr. giuliani's bank records. and i imagine mr. giuliani's bank records might be a scary place to get lost. but the journal does spell out a little bit tonight why federal investigators might want to be looking there. for example, they describe a 2017 deal that mr. giuliani's security company did with a city in the pro-russian eastern part of ukraine. it was a contract with the city administration, according to the journal, to, quote, streamline municipal services. that seems normal on its face. even though the contract was with the city and the city should be paying him for that
