the warmth is beginning to take hold just to the west of illinois ...me hot temperatures around the country this summer many states in triple digits for a really long time now the southwestern states are going down and we're getting warm once again ... not since august 7th have we seen 90 degree temperatures here in chicago. we're looking at the mold and pollen counts and those sunburned times across the metropolitan chicago area ... and also the local temperatures happening now ... this will be the 41st day of 90 or higher temperatures the last time we put 490 degree temperatures together was three weeks ago we will have one today tomorrow and saturday and we expect rain late in the weekend ... that rain system sunday could be the biggest year in five weeks some models are suggesting parts of this area could get an inch and a half of rainfall ... there are some flood watches in the green areas on the national map ... we will see ourselves in the '90s until saturday as i reported ... we will have another update on tropical storm isaac ... the system is

i watched in disbelief as the illinois state police declared that kathleen savio found dead in her bathtub was the victim of an accident. a woman whose hair is soaked in blood lying face down in a bathtub with none of the little bottles on the side disturbed no soap ring no blood ring no towel, no clothes on the edge of the tub and within minutes of their arrival the state police from illinois say that it was an accident. the lead investigator directed that no one process the scene. what does that mean? that means don't take fingerprints, don't move the area for blood, don't process the can of rug cleaner found right near the bedroom that the csi guys didn't even see and don't check any room for any signs of forced entry, and even though there were 13 separate bruises, including a 3 inch bruise to the butt of kathleen savio which the csi investigator says he didn't see at the time, he declared the bruises to be insignificant. well good old sherlock there didn't even bother to examine a 2 inch gash of kathleen's head but he knew there was a lot of bleeding after because when he took her out
