governor, and a democratic legislature, in illinois, they are about to pass a new law that would bann marketing, good gun advertising, that markets guns to kids. this is the poster child kid assault rifle for that new law. of course, they're not banning the gun itself, have been fourth and we can't do that in this country. asked the u.s. supreme court. they are trying to ban the advertising of these assault rifles for babies. california passed along the same lines last year, now other blue states, including illinois, are following suit. gun rights groups and their republican supporters are absolutely outraged. they are absolutely against any such move. why on earth would you want to limit any sort of communication or marketing targeting children with this sort of thing? from their perspective, hey, what could possibly go wrong? to this day, people don't believe me when i tell them what it is that republicans did first the last time they got full control in washington, the last time they got control of both the white house and congress. you remember when that was? that was the result

illinois state police are looking into the cause of death.'ve been to the border so many times, and this highlights the challenges, you know, in having to administer health care to some of these migrants, especially children. so you mentioned that a little bit. you touched on the response from texas governor greg abbott's office. what is the state of texas saying here? >> reporter: yeah, you know, these are such vulnerable populations, particularly the children and the enormous amount of traveling they've had to do, what they've been through. lots of times subjected to violence on their way to the united states. we don't know particularly what happened in this case, but we do know the state of texas is saying they say every death is a tragedy, they point out the fact that they reached out for 911 care, and they called 911 to reach out for emergency and medical care. at this point they're not saying what the cause of death might have been. but certainly this puts into a larger perspective what's happening over and over again as cities like chi
