capital improvement plan over the ten years. i wanted to quickly go over what are some of the reasons for the increase. the water side of the $76 million we had regional water about $5 million with the regional water projects we have identified and system in monitoring enterprise which included about $13 million, water storage facilities and we had 9 other projects and that led for to us increase that water $76 million on the awsf which is our auxiliary water supply system which is $130 million increase that we have. a lot of it as you remember 2 years ago the awsf was transferred to the puc and the earthquake safety and emergency response bond, as you know it's under way to upgrade systems and pump station. the plan is to go to the ballot in 2014 for a hundred million dollar bond which is included in that line item. as far as waste water, when you look at a capital plan. we have a one year capital planning and the ten year is rolling. every year one year drops off and another year comes oun on. the different is the one that add

and types of improvements for your boating facility. so they met with us back in december, and then later in december, they approached staff asking us to submit an application for $500,000 for some department of boating waterway grant funds. it just so happens that at this time, it was towards the end of the year and there was $500,000 that needed to be allocated before the end of the year. so we went ahead and moved forward with the application to make improvements to this particular facility. in march our department was notified that we were awarded the $500,000. the scope of work that was in that grant application involves demolishing this facility, demolishing the old dock and constructing a new low-board doke and improvement to the access road, and installation of ada parking so the design is included in the staff report it's attachment 3. the total project cost is $621,000. at the time of the report we had the $500,000 grant and identified funding sources for the costs that we identified in the project budget. those funding source

now, there is a lot of improvements going on. you can see that many of the buildings there are being boarded-up for renovation and i think right now it's probably one of the most important times to have the cbd continue. because while they are in transition, and while all of this is going on, there is quite a bit of boarded-up buildings and more activity that is happening there. so these people that are helping out the cbd people who are helping clean the neighborhood are very, very important. i had a couple of murals i put up that were graffitied and they drom cro back and clean them up. if we have a graffiti on the art fellows building, they come right over and clean it up. they have been very helpful in the arts programs. they have done their 24 days of art, and participated in and also the palate in the plaza and supported. so they have been a very good contribution to the neighborhood and i support them whole-heartedly. thank you. >> thank you. robin anderson. >> good morning. my name is robin anderson and i'm with alonzo da
