so indiana got slammed there. 40miles north of indianapolis. speaking of -- we'll watch this system go through right there. right there. so that's what it did. and the line of thunderstorms continues. it's marching northward now. towards fort wayne, probably went through elkhart on its way to ohio and now chicago. looks like it's past there and now into detroit. very severe weather here. everybody is getting some kind of weather. we get the fog. breezy into the weekend. and looks like a cooler pattern inland. how much cooler. stuck in the 60s for the longest time here. fog is there up and down the coast. kind of peels off about point conception. 20, gusts to 30 miles per hour. 50s on the temps and cool for some. feels like a hint of fall to me. a couple of people said the same thing. there are hints around early september of a system dropping in. until then, we're waiting for a system to move in from the north. that will usher in a bigger fog bank. quiet in the sierra now. the fog goes very active and might produce some drizzle. more so tonight
