i want to go to indira peterson at the severe weather center in atlanta.f what is in store for today. >> i wish i had better news. we continue to look outside. you were talking about in the distance, you continue to see a lot of storm clouds, we've seen a lot of lightning. notice at the radar, all instability that's still out there. we did have a severe norm warning with winds from 50 to 70 miles per hour in the area. we're talking about clean-up and rescue, we're still talking about the severe weather in the area. a lot of the wind to throwing around the debris already on the ground. ky only imagine how tough it really is, severe thunderstorm watch in effect just east of the area, but as we continue to go throughout the day, that moderate risk where we have the enhanced risk will start to sag a little farther south. that's in line with what we're currently seeing. we're starting to see a couple of the cells move farther south. speaking of the risk i know we've seen so much damage and it's so tough out there but i want people to stay focused on the fact th

also joining us is indira peterson. chad, what else is happening in the area? >> any time a storm gets all by itself it can rotate, it can be a super cell tornado and that's what we still have now. later tonight all these storms will line up and there will be some wind but hannibal, missouri, you still have one cell pretty much all by itself, not attached to other storms. every time you get that, you get a tornado on the ground. we've had a number of them tonight even though it's getting dark, it's not over. this can keep going all night. this can just go as long as it takes for this cool air to really settle in and like a hot air balloon that doesn't want to go up anymore, it's all going to come down and when it does it's finally over. right now it's not over. >> you hear us talk about the threat of violent long-lived tornadoes. this is a 22 mile path of this devastating tornado that ripped through the area and unfortunately, as we will show you, as we take you, chad will walk you through this path, we will show you that where this tornado formed or was weakes
