just look at just indivisible. we first talked about indivisible on this show on january 4th of last year. so a couple of weeks before trump's inauguration, before the women's marches, before any of that, we had noticed these very, very small protests cropping up. in fact, you might not even call them protests, just constituents showing up at the offices of the republican members of congress to voice their concerns, like these women who showed up at the office of congressman bob goodlatte in roanoke, virginia. other people turned up at senator cory gardner's office in colorado. just ordinary citizens visiting their representatives, but they're being very deliberate about their strategy and getting the word out about what they're doing. we started following, that and we quickly realized that they were following this new online guide, the indivisible guide, which was drawn up by some former democratic congressional staffers you've never heard of, and they were putting this document together to give people very practi

the indivisible team was looking at the results for georgia 6.running back then. we were really hoping he was going to pull it out. we thought that would show people that, yes, a wave was rebuilding. he didn't win, but what happened tuesday night was incredible because those same indivisible groups there, when we called them that night back last june, we were calling them to cheer them up to say you did a great thing and we're going to keep on building. we ended up being cheered by them. they said, we're just excited we're purple now. we're in a purple district. we can win this and we can build on this. three days ago they took that seat. a leader in the black lives matter movement, an inspirational figure is joining the u.s. house of representatives in that same district and it's not just her. you ran a clip of several candidates. folks like ayanna pressley. every single one of those folks are running based on grassroots support, are running by not taking corporate pac dollars and are going to lead the change we need. this is just the beginning.
