members, despite the fact that we, you know, gave him the talking points and things we wanted him to ingender, to try to get from a member, most of the time when he was dealing with guys and gals that he had a relationship with for a long, long time, they were quite productive conversations. and i think that we saw the benefit of it whether it was our aa stuff or the stuff that we did with clean air. it was because of these relationships that people wouldn't lie to him. you could trust -- you know, i used to operate on the premise that they all lie, meaning all members of congress. it was -- there was a relationship that existed between the president and members of congress primarily because i think of his service there. and then his eight years as vice president. it's not like he had been out of town for eight years. and so he had a number of relationships which were deep. and that, i think, contributed greatly to

. >> which is, you know, that also doesn't ingender a lot of faith if they don't know how many people were on that boat. there's certain cruises every time you go on and off, you have to swipe in so that they can account for every single individual. so in that sense, but what about do you know has the coast guard made any statements that the cruise line had any sort of record or any violations against it? were they having problems? is this one of the better cruise lines? >> well, no. this was -- this was -- this was a cruise line, a mediterranean cruise line that had in 2008 or 2009, i have to confirm that, 2008, had an accident where it ran up against port there. it had suffered some damage. but generally, the reputtable cruise line. a budget cruise line. people said it was the price. it was a good price for this type of cruise. also an offseason cruise. after the christmas holidays, these cruises are -- it was a full cruise but it wasn't an overly expensive cruise. a lot of people took it as a winter vacation for a good deal on it. >> sure, sure. >> safety records, they had no viola
