laura ingle joins us from new york with details. hello, lori. >> hi, brian, it took a lot of leg work to identify the man who snarled travelers plans for days. after a lot of rewinding of surveillance tapes investigators found their man and tracked him down to find out just what kind of security threat this guy really posed. his name is jiang, a 25-year-old graduate student from china studying at rutgers university. this video pulled from terminal c shows how jiang went around the security guard station after he was reportedly told to stay put and then ducks under the rope once the guard walks away. jiang is then seen walking arm and arm into the secure area with his girlfriend. so, after following up on numerous leads, port authority police found him at his home in new jersey yesterday. he was questioned and taken into custody. he will be charged with defiant trespass, which carries a $500 fine. jiang's roommates told jiang never mentioned the airport incident and don't think that jiang believed initially that this was a serious ma

laura ingle has been following the story and joins us now from the new york city news room.irst of all, tell us about the gas deliveries. >> hi, gregg, well, if allowed here the delivery in question would cruise into boston harbor and then dock at the l and g terminal in everett. that's what is making many in the boston area alarmed tonight. a government report at that came out concluded that terrorists could cause major damage if they got their hand on one of these types of tankers, slashing a hole in the side, for example, could unleash a fire so intense, it could cause major injuries and burn buildings as far as one third of a mile away and second degree burns. that's why they're taking a close look at the plan to bring one of these tankers in from yemen. >> it's just a proposal right now, the coast guard, along with the area maritime security committee is reviewing the proposal to try to saesh what additional security procedures need to be put in place. we're coordinating with our local, state and federal partners. >> reporter: that proceed is going on right now. natural

laura ingle has the story. >> reporter: the tankers filled with this is not on the table. before the plan is approved the mayor and other local leaders say they want to make sure that this is the right thing to do. now, this would be the first time a liquid natural gas tanker originating from yemen would come through the harbor and dock at the lng terminal in everett there. are many other lng shipments usually coming from places like egypt, trinidad and toe t taggo. they need this to turn for businesses. one possibility is unloading the liquefied natural gas away from the city. officials in charge of security say they're coordinating to see if there's additional security that might be needed. >> right now, with all the vessels pulling off port to the united states, they submit a 56 hour notice to us and we do security checks both through documentation and sometimes with physical boarding teams on board the vessels. >> meanwhile, the mayor of everett demaria, told he wanted a summit of all fire, local and state delegates to talk about the possible threat to the area and mak
