this is today, prior to ingleside. 2012, right. they tied in the police report. they print it out. somebody takes a stack of this paper reports to room 400 at the hall of justice. some beleaguered people on a 24/7 shipped type that information, most of it, not all of it, into an old, 40-year-old system, which contains some pieces of data but not all, for example the narrative it does not contain, which is one of the most important things. that is a description of what the crime really was, and then that data is used to marry the local version of what was contained on that desk top. we would be here all night to really explain all of the pieces and parts of this puzzle. there is another component which is citizens entering police reports online, and that plays into this, as well. how it will be in the future, and what is happening right now at ingleside, the officers are entering their police report directly into the data warehouse. in the future, it will go nowhere. currently, because we have to run simultaneous systems, we have the old, and we still have to keep this machine runni

there was another that occurred in the ingleside district. officers went to a report of a dog on and overstreet. when the officer got there and was interviewing one of the neighbors, the dog actually physically attacked the officer and one of the people in the area. the officer discharged his weapon, an animal control was called prior to this occurring, and they took control. they found a fighting for that, and the chief concluded with that, and that included the review of it. that concludes the review board report for the fourth quarter 2011. i would be happy to take any questions before i moved into the officer-involved status report. president mazzucco: commissioner chan? commissioner chan: does anyone else want to jump in before i do? i was involved in the report. there was a 2010 incident that happened. if you notice, it describes the fact that i was asking about it. it's as the officer using his radio became position five or 6 feet in front of the driver's side front bumper, and i had asked if that particular action was a violation of t

the adequacy of parking on ocean avenue -- the eastern end of urbano and ingleside terraces are impacted all day buy cars from patrons of 24-hour fitness, the school and church when they have the events, and other ocean avenue businesses. for some reason, the patrons of these businesses tend not to use the metered parking on ocean avenue but rather to part on urbana in that area. the second point is that the planning commission notes that it is a public transit corridor. since the business will be open until 2:00 a.m., i know that the ball but -- the elbow what dart service bands around midnight. the muni service as around 12:30. there is an owl that does run once per hour and follows a secure route around the city. it would be hard to get anywhere. i am assuming most of the people who come to the billiard hall will be driving. the billiard hall applicants decided not to serve all all -- alcohol, which pleased us. i do not know whether or not that will succeed. the previous speaker made a point that there is a bar on ocean avenue. in addition, there is a 7-eleven that is one block away.
