damian trujillo is following that development live from san francisco in the ingleside neighborhood. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, marla. a san francisco police officer remains on 24 hour guard in front of 16 howth street in the ingleside district of san francisco. there's yellow tape surrounding the victim's home and surrounding homes in this area here in san francisco across from san francisco city college. now this morning a family who did not want to speak on camera dropped off flowers at the victim's doorstep. police aren't revealing much more information this morning about the investigation, but last night they announced the arrest of binh thai tie luc. he is from san francisco, a suspected gang member. police say the killings are not gang related. the arrest comes as police said there were no suspects, that everyone involved in the massacre was dead in the home. but their investigation led them to luc. he died of blunt trauma, an edged weapon capable of cutting may have been used. the suspect is known to the victims but they won't say how. >> the investigation conti

the case would include but are not limited to the homicide tee tail, crime scene investigations, ingleside station investigators, crime investigations unit and robbery detail, the violence response team, and our tactical teams. this was a complex crime scene. on friday morning in responding to the scene we found identify deceased persons, apparently from blunt trauma. and we really didn't know what we had. we had four separate homicide scenes within the residence. we immediately issue in it ode task force style response that has been effective, calling officers from all sections of the police department to contribute what they might to this investigation. over 40 investigators have been involved in this case since friday. homicide investigators and csi technicians responded immediately to the scene for processing. they were supported in the hours to come by the crime investigations unit to investigate any possibility this was a home invasion robbery. the task force was there to investigate any gang-related angles. special victim units to investigate possible domestic or mental health issue
