we've added a community inline bus in ingleside, and we've been adding more service to our core networkrs like mission street, potrero near s.f. general, and really needing increasingly more and more service in order to prevent spacing and -- keep spacing and prevent crowding on the bus. >> thank you. what measures have you been taking to prevent passengers on the bus? >> your safety has been our top priority and is guiding everything that we do. the most critical thing that we're doing is the mask requirement, where we're requiring people, if you're going to ride muni, to do it safely, protecting yourself and others from germs. we've also implemented back door boarding, so except for our customers with disabilities that will need the support of the front door, the ramp, or the leader, we're asking customers to enter from the back to give extra spacing to our operators. we've provided operators with all of the protective equipment that they need to do the job safely, including gloves and masks, and we're really fortunately that our bus -- fortunate that our buses are equipped with a ple

following night, over 100 vehicles participated in another event in the area of russia and paris in the ingleside district. the crowds dispersed, luckily with no gunfire erupting. but again another dangerous event that could have been fat fatal. stunt driving exhibition with large crowds of people. and it resulted in a shooting. the types of events that these cause, confrontation and often gunfire. on august 24th event, at one point a participating driver lost control of the vehicle and forced spectators to quickly jump out of the way to prevent another tragedy. and again we narrowly escaped a tragedy in that. there were spectators all around the intersection that actually blocked the access of entry to officers responding or anybody else that wanted to get to that intersection. so these events are very difficult to police and respond to. and they take up a lot of our polices resources, that really could be going to other things. but we have to divert resources to deal with this activity. the driving is a risk of death. and this is a violation as mentioned by all of the supervisors -- [indiscerni

opposition to the project include the ocean avenue association, ocean gardens homeowners association and ingleside merchant association. specifically, concerns have been express expressed that th proposed use is concerning, and that the loading and unloading patients causes pedestrian and traffic concerns on ocean avenue. on monday, shirley medina presented a letter on behalf of the associations but continued to express concerns of traffic and congestion from the existing dialysis. earlier today, the commission has been provided a letter from board president yee. in response to the community letters and comments received, the sponsor has hosted a series of virtual meetings with the community over the past few months. procedurally, the scope of this project did not trigger an environmental review of transportation issues, nor was it subject to better streets plan, but in response to the public comments receive on the existing and paratransit loading issues, at the existing project sites and to be expanded upon by the project, the project was reviewed by the streets design advisory team. the s.f. po
