we are going to see it making that inland progress. lot of fog on the map to begin the day on tuesday. it backs up out of the inland valleys pretty quickly. it's more stubborn around the bay and along the coast. visibility there should be improving as we head towards late morning and early afternoon. temperatures are going to be a few degrees warmer than today. temperatures tonight are going to drop town to the low to mid-50s, pretty much across the board, which is where we're supposed to be this time of year. san francisco warming up to almost 70 degrees during the afternoon. it'll be a slow warm-up. that low cloud cover and fog is hanging out. we warm up quickly with a brief period where the onshore winds aren't too strong. temperatures in santa rosa once the fog dissipates warming up to the mid-80s inland in the north bay tomorrow. concord a couple degrees warmer. far from record territory. records in the middle of may are around 100 degrees. we're not anywhere close to that. but a solid 10 degrees above average for inland temperatu

inland areas, we are above average. let's break apart why that is happening and let's take a live look. i have been keeping my eyes on the golden gate bridge and throughout the coastline this morning because we are dealing with a very thick marine layer. take a slow on the roads as you go through low-lying intersections today. 50s before you head out the door. 58 in san jose. cooler near concord. the marine layer is in the concord area. let's advance the clock into the 9:00 our. the marine layer pulls back along the coastline. i am watching the split along the peninsula. by 1:00 it is clearing up close to to the bay bridge by 3:00 we see the marine layer listed to vallejo. where it is dense is along the coastline. pacifica, once we head north along the highway and closer into daly city. and the sun set for that matter in san francisco. sausalito , not sausalito, stinson beach will clear up for a little bit. we see that more clear into the four clock hour but it pulls its way into the coast and all throughout the bay are
