we are going to make it up into the low to mid 60s across the board except far inland and east bay. it is going to be dense tomorrow morning and that is going to slow down the warm-up. let's look ahead to that next rain chance. the pattern shift is going to be apparent by next monday into tuesday. it is going to bring the potential for some localized flooding and wind damage as well. lingering showers on wednesday. timing on that is still a bit up in the air but it indicates the beginning of an unsettled pattern that is going to last for a while. quite a bit of rain for this first system. anywhere between one inch and 2 1/2 inches of rain which would be great. the american forecast model says we are going to build on that even more. it is forecasting anywhere from two and half to four inches of rain. generally, we suspect an inch and a half. more than five inches of rain possible for the santa cruz mountains. those numbers, just for the first system. it takes us right through the first week of january with a wet start to 2023. maybe next year, we can keep it going unlike this year.
