in the inland east bay and we look at the seven-day forecast for this part of the bay which usually goesthrough extreme swings. today's, 101. the inland east bay gives us a good example of how dramatically different most of the rest of the week will be . especially in those places that tend to feel the heat the most. look at the comparison between the two days. from 101 today all the way back over to the 82 that we will have by the time we get to tuesday. that is a very short time to cool down 20 degrees . we will not be there long. the other thing about today i want to talk about before we get into the daytime highs, is the air-quality. you notice some of the haze in the sky that was visible yesterday. the air quality was good yesterday but the forecast for today, this is the forecast for today put out by the bay area air quality management district, we go to moderate. not just the inland east bay, the entire bay , thanks in part to a wildfire burning in the southwest edge of oregon, which you can see on the future cast. the deeper shade of red showed you the smoke coming off of the fla
