the low cloud cover and fog will spread into the inland valleys as we go through tonight, almost exactly normal temperatures in store for the next few days. lots of sunshine inland once the fog retreats. the fog and low cloud cover will be tough to shake along the coast. little bit warmer by sunday and monday, just a little bit of a baby warm-up for inland parts of the bay area. temperatures today were almost normal for this time of year. looking towards sutro tower the fog is shrouding the tower already. the fog downtown topped out at about five degrees below average. the onshore breeze did not let up enough. a couple degrees cooler this afternoon in pacifica. fremont made it into the 70s. otherwise, near average highs. 80 degrees in concord for the warm spot. upper 70s in san jose. similar temperatures across the board tomorrow including a similar start. fog spreading into the inland valleys. once again a fairly shallow layer of fog so it backs up quickly. along the coast you are going to have a hard time getting rid of it. temperatures tonight drop down into the low to mid 50s, normal

it's going to spread across the bay into the inland valleys by tomorrow morning near average high temperatures for the entire bay area tomorrow, which will last through friday into saturday. a little baby warm up for the inland parts of the bay area by sunday and monday, but then it's back to normal temperatures through the rest of next week. the pattern that looks like it will stick around. here is the view, looking to the east and that fog is swallowing up the pyramid, just barely touched 60 degrees earlier. livermore and concord just a few degrees below 80. the fog will continue pushing into the inland valleys by early tomorrow morning. and fairly compact marine layer that will not take too long for the mid may sunshine to burn through the fog and along the coast, they will have a tough time getting rid of it. the next several days, the may gray in the skies will be in full effect throughout the day. temperatures will start off in the lower 50s across all of the bay area. how much we warm up will depend on when that breeze will kick in. it won't take long to kick in along the coast. further

but for our warmest inland valleys, certainly going to feel that cooling trend instead of being in the mid 80's like livermore in concord. instead only warming up into the low 80's, but just barely with a nevado in santa rosa. them all the cities. they're 3 to 5 degrees above average for north bay and east bay valleys. but oakland, 69 degrees. so very seasonal temperatures there with half moon bay at 58 degrees and redwood city. 75 degrees. so enjoy that. taking a look ahead at your next 10 at 10. now, look, no rain in the forecast. aside from our patchy morning, drizzle temperatures cooling down saturday, but then you can see a little bit of a warming trend sunday into this upcoming days. but then a perfect end to this spring-like forecast. 10 days from now. so we have a little bit of a warming trend, but fortunately, no major heat waves in store. yeah, a nice 10 day. love it. okay. thanks. thank you. house republicans have blocked an attempt by democrats to expel gop representative george santos. >> the house voted to send the new york representatives exposing resolution to the house

across the inland valleys, lots of 80s.ome of the warmest weather back towards inland contra costa. 73 in oakland. 50s and 60s, san francisco to half moon bay. looking good through tomorrow. but i wanted to share new information about the next ten-day forecast. i'm seeing the storm track could actually stay close to northern california. a couple different systems moving off to the north, so even though we have heat trying to build in from the south, the cooler systems to the north will help moderate the temperatures. ten-day forecast in livermore, dip down to 70s thursday, friday and saturday, 80s, sunday, monday and tuesday. next week, more 70s. a real excellent ten-day trend coming. in san francisco, 60s with morning fog, afternoon sunshine. for the inland valleys, again, 70s coming back, thursday, friday and saturday. so that sierra snow melt, want to go skiing this weekend? >> sure. >> or stay and hang with the sunshine. >> i'm going to do that. >> me, too. >> you got me at tomorrow's already wednesday. i like that. >>

the warmest, inland valleys, low to mid 80's. 57 in half moon bay. we definitely have the cool and the mild. let's take a look at the 24 hour temperature change. the cooling continuing in some of our inland valleys where the temperatures have dropped off a few more degrees. one of the things that is helping is the sea breeze. it is stronger, gusting at 31 at sfo. breezy towards the delta. that wind is going to remain with us as we head into tonight. the wind will come down a little bit, only to pick back up again tomorrow afternoon. as you will notice, 2 mile-per-hour wind towards the coast. places like livermore, 31. that will keep the cooling natural a/c going. you will see the fog down below near the coastline. i do want to turn your attention to the flood watch that continues. for thursday, 8:00 until monday 8:00 p.m.. the concern is the epic snowpack we had over the winter is melting as it has been warm. flood warning for the merced river and a flood advisory in the san joaquin valley. beautiful view. warm for spring up in tahoe. be aware of the

san francisco because finally there, it's going to be warming up, too and really hot for the inland valleys looking at a big spread across the temperatures and looking at san rafael and beautiful sunshine and nice, calm wind and we're in the mid-60s and we're headed into the upper 60s for the afternoon and most of us will have some really nice weather continuing from what we've had for the past few days, and upper 60s in san jose and it is warmer in gilroy with the high of 74 and 71 in east san jose. in danville, 70 degrees where hayward, and fremont will reach 66 degrees and upper 60s for half moon bay and redwood city at 63 degrees and we are headed to 63 degrees for the mission district and san francisco and up into the north bay we'll see high temperatures reaching 70s in santa rosa and once again, wide ranging temperatures and especially for the inland valleys and high pressure and it will block chances, and that held up the coast and that will be the case with dry and warm conditions through at least the middle of next week. as we take a look at our outlook from may 16th to the 20th,
