we already heard from governor insley of washington state, his objection to arming teachers. fred guttenberg lost his daughter jamie in the parkland shooting. first of all, how are you doing? how are you holding up? >> well, we had a rough weekend. this was supposed to be my daughter's first dance competition of the season. it's what my daughter lived her life for. honestly, it was more for my wife, something that was a major part of what used to go on in our house. my wife and i today, this weekend we didn't go to dance competition. we instead went to a cemetery. i can tell you she's struggling. we still are having a hard time coming to grips that this is our new life going forward. you know, my rabbi said it best at my daughter's funeral. we keep going forward, and that's how life returns to normal, but it's hard. i thank you for asking though. >> i've been thinking about you all. we've gotten to know you a little bit and some of the young people. thinking about the continued trauma of what they're experiencing, the shock, the ptsd, it doesn't end. it ends perhaps for some
