the insta-weather + team is closely monitoring what could be another round of rough winter weather. the national weather service has issued a winter weather revisory starting at 3:00 tomorrow morning lasting until at least 6:00 for eight counties in maryland. they're getting ready for possible accumulation and pretreating state roads in baltimore, hartford, and cecil county. if you have to go out tomorrow, they advise you wait until later in the day to let crews clear the roads. the brutal attack on christmas night have police searching for clues. the 30-year old kenni shaw was leaving the liquor store in east baltimore when he was attacked by a group of five or six men. he believes he was targeted because of his sexual orientation because they did not take anything from him during the attack. they will not confirm or deny that the assault may have been a hate crime. they're making solid progress in the search for his assailant. no picketing expected this weekend as the soon-to-be expired contract has been extended averting the strike by more than an 14,000 on major ports on the eas

>> now, your 11 insta-weather plus forecast with meteorologist ava marie. >> we are taking a look at the radar right now and lake-effect snow showers have been tracking through ohio, pennsylvania, west virginia, all morning long. some are accumulating. what we are watching is a few flurries trying to make their way into central maryland. we've seen a couple of around baltimore. someone reported a flurry in lutherville. look at this icy mix trying to show up in queen anne's, talbot county, moving into the area. it's interesting how quickly the weather can change. this is associated with the lake-effect snow showers coming down behind latest storm. overall, we're not expecting more accumulation across the area today. yesterday, there were respectable amounts north and west including two to three inches across carroll county. across northern baltimore county, 1.8 inches reported in parkton, 2.5 in harford county and scarborough. watch out for ice this morning as roads may be wet. winds are strong behind the latest storm system helping produce lake-effect snores and flurries in our area.
