that incident on the interloop of the beltway looks like it has moved on and beyond colesville road in the direction of new hampshire avenue. >>> we have breaking news in montgomery county this morning. there is an amber alert in effect for an 11-year-old boy. police say the boy's mother was found dead inside her home. stacy cohan live in germantown with more on this. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. this is a very unusual story for the way it all unfolded. i believe we do have a picture of this 11-year-old boy who is missing now. he is just 11 years old and he was last seen almost two weeks ago. here is what we know. police were called to this germantown maryland apartment complex early yesterday by a friend of a woman named jane mclean. they said they hadn't been able to reach her for quite some time. the police gainedmentery and discovered the 51-year-old dead inside her bedroom. she suffered from trauma to the body. her young son, 11-year-old, william was missing. we do have some amber alert information for you to take note of. he is about five feet tall, weighing 80 pounds
