and from interpol, the coordinator for the environmental security unit that aims to shut down these criminalises. when a person thinks about online wildlife crime it is pretty natural to think this is happening in a far-off place. what is most surprising about where these animals and their parts are showing up? >> we did a six-week investigation looking at 16 countries, and looked at 280 online websites, and we found 30,000 products available for sale just in that amount of time. but that number can bes and l -- bes andi astounding. and it's the individual examples that really bring it to life. so, for example, in russia, we found a toilet trained guerrilla available for sale, and orangutans and tigers. in the u.s. we have worked with the u.s. fish and wildlife services, and provided evidence that has been used in a separate investigation to apprehend 154 perpetrators selling wildlife products including skins from big cats found for sale in the u.s. >> wolfgang it would make sense that these criminals would gravitate toward the largest groups like ebay. how do you stop them? >> first things
