new image just in, live doppler 7 hd we are looking at rain from inverness and west of mill valley over also through petaluma and to the east, highway 80. check it out. just west of the peninsula here within the 7:00 hour, getting a little wet. around 280 and the santa cruz mountains and around tracy and livermore valley, some pockets of shower activity. so keep that in mind throughout the morning hours but throughout the day today as we have a front approaching. moisture lingering and we will be looking at this the next 48 hours. the state looks pretty lit up. most of the moisture into the sierra nevada to the south and east of us. that is moisture around to trigger a light shower. we could really get wet in the mountains, but mountain snow, maybe a couple of inches. if you are had he that had way, keep that in mind. across the bay area, this trough pushes it across the state increasing winds and chance for showers. much cooler today as this autumn weathermaker heads our way. at&t park, a cooler day, partly cloudy, temperatures at about 60 degrees and breezy winds at times. throughout
