they are coming in across inverness and working their way across novato and getting over toward napa. it is not like this is going to be a prolonged rain, but is the start for what will be more noticeable for everybody between 8:00 and 9:00 when the bed of rain arrives. is unlike peninsula right now. you will get light rain down around daly city. but it is a better batch of rain across the coast. that is what we are focused on this morning. that is what is going to make a more noticeable rain. once we get into the later hours, that is at 7:35. you can see now that everybody is getting it. in the far one of those organized bands that come through and gets everybody at the same time. at the 7:00 hour is when we will see it at the earliest. the timing for the best rain for this has pushed back just a little bit from where it was in last nights forecast model. not that big of a difference for most of us. the best rain comes through in the early morning. we will keep a few scattered showers going today through the afternoon. we will advance this to 5:00, you can see there are still scatter

light rain, dillon beach and inverness and we go to the valley we got petaluma and nevada and sonoma. napa canyon dry at the moment. into san francisco we got rain falling there as the coast line from ocean beach towards half- moon bay and then as we shift our eyes to san mateo and the bridge. light rain and the bay bridge seeing rain in the santa cruz mountains and the beach. santa cruz covered in the green. into the east bay we go where we have light rain along i-80 and in our valley location. 680 looks like a light stretch. san ramon and off highway 4. transitioning from concord and over toward antioch. as we go through the morning, we do expect the rain to continue. here is a look at your lunch time where we are mostly cloudy. we do begin to dry out. we will leave in the possibility of a few isolated showers for the second part of the afternoon but you can see for yourself here that we are not expecting to see a whole lot. this moves out and we are dry by saturday. when i come back, i will have a look at how much rainfall we will get and this unsettled weather that is expected to

now let's go north looking around inverness at highway one and into and around the valley with a highwaynd nevada with light rain and sonoma and napa reporting some rain on the southern edge of st. helena and into our central bay, san francisco reporting light rain and a moment ago i showed a lie look at the golden gate bridge and you see from the radar that we have green on the screen which stretches towards the sunset district and ocean beach and is daly city and into areas of the inner east bay along highway four. also mount diablo, santa cruz and capitola light rain overhead and into the sierra we have snow that continues to fall this morning with levels right around 5000 feet. the future cast model shows that for the lunch hour we will have mostly cloudy skies and some isolated showers especially over the north bay and into the second part of the day we see bigger changes with partly sunny skies expected at a few sprinkles for the rest of the avenue during or rest of the afternoon and into sunset. the possibility of circles into tomorrow and more on that with the extended forecast.
