ron sloan is invesco's senior portfolio manager, joins us on set.great to see you at our headquarters. welcome. >> pleasure to be here. >> fed-free world, jumping the gun, they're still in the game. when are they leaving? >> we have to anticipate. earlier, rick in stocks was saying they have to call the 10 year-year old. i've always been in bonds and have a bond complex, inferior to those guys. the stock valuation fed led world is done, i think that's over. whether it was the little blip we got in inflation last week or the taper ending in the fall, we're going to move into a market of stocks which is a stock picker's market. that's narrower market by definition. i think it allows -- the reason it's a stock picker's market in my view, managements have a lot more things they can do in that environment. a nominal growth environment we're talking about here. i think that people who can get and understand where management is going, the options management has, i think that's why it's a stock picker's market, if we can get there. >> stock picker's market,

gerri: the star rating is great for invesco. thank you so much for coming. this just in.as the details on what this news means for you. >> good evening. ali baba filing for an ipo. it is a placeholder and they're about $160 million worth what it has come about the 50th biggest public company in the world. it was found dead by the current chairman and ceo but up until last year he has been an english teacher in china. he owns the same apartment where he founded the company and looking at some of the numbers, the gross merchandise volume was about $248 billion. that's a massive number in this company is worth more than 95% of the s&p 500. they have about 35% stake in the country. a massive chinese e-commerce company coming to the united states. we do expect alibaba to continue acquiring and hiring some of the best talent here in the u.s. when it comes to expanding their reach. so lots of interesting developments. you might be able to know that there are 68 banks, goldman sachs, jpmorgan, morgan stanley and citibank as well. gerri: an ipo tells us that the u.s. markets are s

joining us on set is senior portfolio manager of the five-star $12 million invesco comstock funds.get into names, where do you think the market is? i always preface it by saying i like to buy good companies when they're inexpensive. it's hard to tell where the market will to in a short period of time. it's my belief we are in this slow grinding environment, which i think the market kind of likes. we're not really having these parabolic shifts in the economy. i think we're fine at this point. >> generally speaking, you like banks. you like the big banks? >> yes. >> big banks being citi. >> citi huge. >> jpmorgan. >> i like jpmorgan. it's one of our top holders. >> just last week we asked where he would go on banks. he said regionals. would you do the regionals? >> i love dick, but i think he's wrong in this case. the credit is back to normalized levels at this point. valuations of regional banks, which are pure lending banks, there's no controversy there. the big guys are cheap because of dodd/frank, a lot of the legislation, a lot of the, you know, regulatory stuff that's been put
