iraqi politics are notoriously slow. as you mentioned in your lead in to me, right now you have the decision that's been made. then the cabinet must meet with the prime minister. they need to approve it. then it gets really bottlenecked. because then it goes to parliament. and that's when sectarian politics are really going to be an issue and you're going to have a lot of debate and a lot of argument. i would say that it's safe to assume that this is a process that could take weeks, could possibly take months. because these kinds of things are going to be very difficult to get through parliament. at least that's the mood here in the street in baghdad as far as what people are expecting. then if it were to the ratified in parliament it needs to go back to the parliament to be executed and implemented. even though this is causing shock waves today, this is a big headline, it is not something that is going to happen immediately and you can bet there will be a lot of members of parliament that will be disapproving it and it
