let me begin with northern ireland. for three and a half years, i had the privilege of working for peace in that troubled land. it it was the most difficult task i have ever undertaken but in the end the most rewarding. last last year, the governments of britain and ireland and most of the political parties in northern ireland reached an agreement that could end centuries of conflict, and then in a free and open election, the people of ireland -- north and south -- voted overwhelmingly to approve that agreement. it was an historic step forward. by itself, the agreement does not guarantee peace and reconciliation. but it makes them possible, even though there remain many difficult and controversial decisions. the negotiations lasted for nearly two years. the british and irish governments and ten political parties from northern ireland were eligible to participate. it is an indication of the difficulty and the complexity of the process that not once, not for a single moment, was i able to get all twelve of the eligible pa

when he was a little boy in ireland all the kids were in special schools. in fact, in ireland, most of the kids really like they are in the united states almost completely separate. even though his mom and dad cared for him they are very poor, people who actually know cows. they don't make cheese, have a factory, how big production facilities, many literally takes care of cows and make sure that raw milk goes to very. almost no money. on the special school that was there was just for kids with special needs. today that has has changed. if you were born in ireland today he would go to school with kids who all ranges of different abilities. i don't like the word disability anymore. when you grow up i think you we will change the world. why are we using a word that begins with this to describe a human being. it is almost shocking that we put someone. someone. if i said to you what are you because that can well not a very good artist and i don't have a good voice and i have that sense of direction and i can match colors and stuff like that but you can't match c
