this will send a huge message to children in ireland. civil partnership and marriage have a lot of sim similarities. but same sex marriage, that sends a moafnlg the kids that their relationships are just as important as a straight kid and that their dreams are just as important and that having a relationship or a family in anything but name that isn't marriage sends a really negative message. and i think perpetuates a culture that does suggest that certain people are second-class citizens. and are not entitled to the same exact benefits as everybody else. you know we have this old generic brand in ireland called yellow pack. people have said this is sort of a yellow pack version of marriage. it doesn't taste same, it's sort of cheaper doesn't have the same respect. so with the argument, it's sort of beggar's belief what argument you could put up for not giving same sex families everything but the name of marriage and being able to call their spouse a husband or a wife. >> i'll say there are heartwarming stories coming out of the campaign
