. >> isa soar es, thank you four report. >> president renewed his call for the travel ban saying thet extra level of security. ryan brown is live for us in washington. what are you hearing from there, ryan? >> reporter: as you said, donald trump was both quick to sound support for the uk. he had a phone call with prime minister theresa may where they discussed the issue. he tweeted out his support saying that unthe united states stood very close by as one of its key allies, but he followed it up with another tweet, talking about the need to, in his word, kind of bring through the travel ban which, of course, would apply to several muslim majority countries. again, that travel -- those travel restrictions are going to in front of the supreme court which will decide whether or not to allow it to go ahead and its constitutionality is determined. using this event in london, this terrorist attack, to draw attention to his proposed restrictions from travel from these countries. it's not clear in this particular attack in london where the perpetrators are from, whether they were uk citizens
