and then through tonight, most of the showers will fade, will keep some going across the northern islese of high pressure, it�*s going to be a mainly fine start to saturday. however, this frontal system will be approaching from the west. initially that will throw some high cloud across the sky, turning the sunshine quite hazy. and then the cloud will thicken out towards the west, with outbreaks of heavy rain pushing across northern ireland into western and northern parts of wales, the isle of man, north west, england into southern and central parts of scotland. it will turn relatively windy too for some of these irish sea coasts. temperatures 12 degrees in lerwick, 20 degrees in london. now, as you move through saturday night, this weather system willjust continue to wriggle around. there�*ll be some quite heavy bursts of rain, i think across central parts of the uk as this weather system continues to advance. it will draw in some really quite humid air as we head into sunday, a very warm, quite muggy start to sunday across southern parts. it will be quite misty and murky, too, for some

down towards the far southwest, the far north of scotland, but really only the western and northern islestemperatures in eastern scotland up to 25, 26 degrees. parts of central and south eastern england could well get to 29. through monday night, it stays dry with clear skies. still, this weather front in the far north of scotland with a few splashes of rain and maybe the odd shower into the far south west of england by the end of the night. 16 there in plymouth to start tuesday morning. a very warm start, but a mild start elsewhere as well. for tuesday, this area of low pressure swirling to the south west of us mayjust introduce the odd shower across the south west of england, parts of wales, possibly northern ireland. our weather front in northern scotland will be weakening. elsewhere, lots more sunshine and plenty of warmth as well, although a slight shift in the wind direction will bring a slightly cooler day in the eastern side of scotland. 21 there for aberdeen. further south 27, possibly 28 degrees. as we move into wednesday, this area of high pressure changes shape, shifts to the

day with gales across the north of scotland and some heavy rain drifting its way across the northern isleslls and scattered showers. then here's our rain bands, the rainjust waxing and waning across parts of wales, the north midlands, northern england. to the south of that, some spells of sunshine and some warmth, highs of 23, 2a, maybe 25 degrees. now, through thursday night, our rain band will tend to pep up again and it will also drift northwards across northern england, into northern ireland, southern and central parts of scotland by the end of the night. to the south of that, clear spells, ii or 12 degrees. to the north of that, actually rather chilly in the north of scotland. but for friday, well, it looks very wet indeed across northern ireland, rain also affecting southern and central parts of scotland. and underneath the cloud, with the outbreaks of rain, temperatures in glasgow only getting to 13 degrees, 14 there in belfast. compare that with 25 in london. some warmth and humidity building down towards the south. into the weekend, this area of low pressure swirling to the south—

have this weather front approaching, so more cloud, bringing rain into the western and later northern isles that mix of the heat as well, some home—grown downpours, torrential downpours continuing well into the evening. but quite well scattered. they could just cause some flash flooding locally. and then, even though they will ease away for a time overnight, we have more moving in from the south, pushing into the south and west. and again, just increasing that humidity. so another really close night and uncomfortable for sleeping, i should imagine, for quite a few. even further north, the humidity stays with us, that means for the great north run, not ideal conditions, with that high humidity. the increasing chance of a thundery shower as well for those running into the afternoon. so take on lots of water, if you can. so the shower risk tomorrow perhaps a bit further north than today. some torrential downpours, lots of lightning with those showers. and we have our weather front in the north and west. but in—between, lots of sunshine, still very warm and humid. so temperatures might not be q
