i'm looking at itb, the hab, homebuilders, down 7%, 8% decline this week, the stocks are getting obliterated. an area of strength where you said look at what is happening, and you were talking the real economy, the housing boom we have seen, look what is happening, the stocks are performing incredibly well now they're falling apart a little bit, at least this week is it a worrying sign? >> well, they're all still technically in up trends these are stocks that have gone up 100%, so having them at an 8% drawdown from their recent peak to me, i wouldn't consider that to be obliterated. obliterated is draftkings, okay. obliterated is arkk. i would not consider the homebuilders quite obliterated, but it has been a tough week because these stocks are extremely sensitive to sudden and severe changes in interest rates or interest rate expectations, let's call it. that move makes sense to me. even as somebody that is still bullish on the housing trend, and i will be for probably the foreseeable future, but for every xhb you throw at me, judge, i will throw right back at you look at the bounces in wal

itb is home builders and kbe is s&p banks.ng in opposite directions in response to yields this is fatigue in leadership group. a little bit of strength here in semiconductors and internet stocks so this doesn't really look like a big sea change in terms of the leadership of the market it looks like selling one thing where you have high exposures and picking up some of the stuff and maybe a little bit under invested it's a waxing and waning of strength big picture. take a look at this chart. comparing the run since march of 2020 to prior huge rallies off of a major market low in 2009 and this is the chart making the rounds from strategis. we've been running way ahead 70% move it flattens out or chops down. we are ahead of the game here. one thing i'll mention quickly two instances is not significant from the past. those prior markets flattened out around the time that the fed started to withdraw some stimulus, either hiking rates or the end of qe 1 in 2010. that will set the broader scene for you, joe >> okay, mike. thanks stay
