first mount is the actual bracket that attaches to the wall itself and then the second part is the actual bracket to the tv, we're going to take this big guy that actually anchors to the wall, lock it up onto the back of the tv so we can actually get a height measurement. so you want to get this on the back so you know exactly where this goes in relation to the wall and the bottom of the opening. correct. what we're going to actually do is detach the bracket from the tv itself, get that all measured up so we can predrill to make sure the cabinet a, is secure enoughbut b, that we don't damage the cabinet itself. so to secure that mount to the cabinet what do you plan on using? so the manufacturers on all mounts will supply their own lag bolts that they actually prefe throwing that in there, getting it all secured up. okay, so next step: put the tv on, right? you got it. it's kind of the moment of truth. with this style mount what we're going to ultimately be looking for is in the back of their tv we have 4 little silver pins. we want each one of those to lock in.
