ivanka spoke about being that generation. that is a critical opponent of being able to be a human being in society and care for families across the lifespan. think it is important to recognize that in situations where a child has just been diagnosed with cancer or there is some kind of like threatening -- life-threatening health issue , not taking time off work is actually not a possible choice. i had the experience of taking a kid who was sick to the doctor. needsctor said your kid oxygen and you are getting in an ambulance now and you are going to children's hospital. was 15 point, the kid months old. it was not possible for me to leave him. to donot the nurses job childcare and at that point, the choice is, am i going to keep my job or is my employer going to find -- fire me? it is not if i am going to stay or not. and a few had pediatric cancer in the fall and there was no choice. his mother had to take time off to taking to chemo, to take him to radiation. that caregiver, whoever is chosen in the file, does lose the job
