he collapsed inside the j.c. penney entrance friday night. first responders found 20-year-old andrew garland, shot near a car. he died at the hospital. both men were from broward county. deputies have not named any suspects. new information overnight about a deadly crash last night in deleon springs. troopers now say the car veered off u.s. 17 and flipped near dawson brown road. the driver, mary hernandez of astor died after she was thrown from the car. three passengers were treated for minor injuries. troopers do not know why hernandez lost control. two people are suing over the as we first reported thursday, nearly 63,000 social security numbers are compromised. two victims just filed complaint in federal court, alleging ucf did not do enough to protect their information. their attorneys want a jury trial, and damages awarded, based on the outcome. letters are still going out to all those affected, but ucf has already offered credit monitoring and identity theft protections to the victims. the contact information for those resources is post
