kron4's j.r.ne joins us from napa with details. >> reporter: we're talking about downtown joe's brewery and the restaurant that we're talking about here. they tell me they had instruments set up in this location and the acceleration levels during this earthquake were highest at this location. yet there was no damage. this was a building that was retrofitted for earthquakes back six years ago. now that's the good news for them. but right across the street, you look down the street here and a number of these businesses along this street, main street here in napa. many of them yellow tagged and red tagged, i can turn the camera and you see all that yellow tape. you see an area that's still closed off. it says extreme danger, stay back 100 feet. this is an area obviously, you see up here that was hit very hard. but the fact is just across the street at joe's they didn't see any damage because of this retrofit. now a building you saw there before in the distance, that was retrofitted but really comes d
