(j.r.)in the last hour i talked with her best friend on the phone who tells me she is okay physically but traumatized by what happened. her coworkers said she is not working at the gas station anymore after this frightening experience. this is all new surveillance video showing what happened. in it you can see the gas station clerk walk towards the door.then the man enters and slams her to the ground. at that point witnesses say the man, who police say is brian holste, began choking the clerk. i talked with a witness outside who is homeless. those at the shell gas station sometimes give him money to clean up the bottles and cans. he was the first person to see this woman getting choked out. he was able to get a couple other men to help him get holste off of the woman. the homeless witness told me the woman's face was purple from the choking. he's thankful they were able to help this clerk. jesse green/witnessi almost started crying because i was thinking

(j.r.)onight more than 24 hours after we learned that raiders coach jack del rio was out....we still don't know who the next coach of the silver and black is. espn is quoting "nfl sources" and saying that jon gruden is expected to become the raiders next head coach. nothing has been announced as of right now. the deal could with gruden could involve partial ownership of the team as well. gruden has been in the broadcast booth for the past nine season. he was with the raiders from 1998 to 2001 before being traded to tampa bay by al davis. a year later gruden's buccaneers defeated the raiders in the super bowl. gruden has been an espn staple since he was hired back in 2009. in his 11 seasons as head coach jon gruden has made the playoffs in five of those seasons. there is a hope that gruden could get the raiders back to where they were when derek carr led them to a 12 and 4 season. the same season where carr ended up getting injured. kron 4's j.r. stone has the story..fficers armed with hand guns and rifles as they attempt to catch a thief in sunnyvale. a person who stole this delivery truck as the workers were installing an appliance at a home near san francisco's japantown.sot so when they went into the house somebody got into the truck and runaway the workers immediately called the owner of the truck jaime pacheco who was in south san francisco. he got in his car, got on highway 101, and what do you know, he saw his truck. sot i was 101 north when i saw the truck coming 101 south and i said that's my truck but it wasn't my driverso pacheco got off the highway.turned around, sped up, and followed his stolen truck that you see here.this is cell phone video that his passenger shot. he then dialed 911.nats somebody stole my truckc-h-p officers got involved near redwood city. you can see some of the flashing lights in the distance. the driver wouldn't pull over.eventually that driver exited the highway, ditched the truck ,and ran. sot and i look over

as kron 4's j.r. stone reports tonight...chhay's widow is now pleading for help.i struggle to survive each day for my boys...for my boys i have to be strong for my boys but they ask for their father every day at 7 am before schoolit's now been more than 8 months since rattana kim's husband piseth chhay went missing. his remains were eventually found in bags in this hayward warehouse. the victim of a murder. police say the suspect, bob tang, a former friend of chhay's, fled to his homeland of cambodia and is still on the loose right now. sot the house has been quiet and it's so hard for me to go upstairs it's so hard for me to stand there and look at the sofa where he used to sitfor the first time we're seeing a picture of tang, taken last year, at a community meeting focused on finding chhay. hours after it was taken tang fled the country. chhay's sons both 9 and 12 spoke at his memorial earlier this month. they are still dealing with the loss of their dad. rattana works nights as a nurse and receives a call every evening from them to make sure she is okay.sot i d

live in oakley, j.r. stone kron 4 news.t bay... police are offering a 10-thousand dollar reward for information about a deadly hit and run in east oakland. it happened around 5 o'clock in the morning at 98th avenue and sunnyside street on new year's day. a driver in a dark colored sedan was speeding on 98th avenue... hit a woman... and took off. the victim was taken to the hospital where she died. police have not released the victim's identity at this time. ( james ) new this morning... in berkeley... police are looking for possible witnesses to a serious hit-and-run crash that happened last month. a woman was severely injured when a car hit her back on december 18th on san pablo avenue at haskell street. police say the victim is still hospitalized... and she is suffering from significant trauma. right now... police are looking for the driver or passengers of a dark colored s-u-v. police believe they may have seen the crash... and can help out in their investigation.
