here is j.r. stone. >> reporter: yellow tape wrapped around this car after a substance inside sent seven people to the hospital including four chp officers, one of whom became unresponsive working to get a car off the golden gate bridge. >> we located a white powdery substance that we believe to be fentanyl. fentanyl is an odorless drug. >> reporter: the california highway patrol says those hospitalized may have inhaled the drug saying they received a report of a driver swerving on the bridge. when they arrived, this car was actually stopped along northbound lane on the golden gate. the driver was inside and unconscious. officers made the decision to clear the lanes and moving the vehicle to the first exit north of the bridge. >> as soon as they got on to the off-ramp and he immediately began to feel the symptoms, he immediately went over the air and requested an ambulance for position. shortly after that is when he went down. >> reporter: and niche one golden gate bridge patrol officer, the tow truck d
