jack: how about debt free college? today-- iowa 100 senate members across the country announced legislation in 10 states calling for it. this is an issue that's been on the minds of many during this presidential campaign season. all three democratic presidential candidates have endorsed this debt-free college idea, which is popular with 71 percent of 2016 general election voters. some of the proposed ways to make college debt-free include more federal aid to states, more aid to students, and other innovations that reduce general college costs. it would allow students to graduate from all public colleges and universities with zero debt. stephanie: in court today-- a man accused of shooting two random teenager at a metro mcdonald's appeared before a judge. 34 year old gabriel coco is charged with two counts of willful injury, after he shot two people outside of an ankeny mcdonald's. today was his arraignment. police say the shooting began with coco arguing with two 18 year old men after he was upset by how the young men
