and that was taken at the jack in a box on geary and 11th street.hat is showing both the suspect and the firefighter just before that hit-and-run accident. now, as you take a look at the surveillance footage, you can see a man that is in a white t-shirt, short sleeves, and that is the plan who -- man who police believe is the suspect in the hit-and-run accident. we're told just around 2:45 on thanksgiving day, is when both the suspect and the firefighter got in an argument. they had to be separated, and the firefighter left the restaurant, was followed by the suspect, and who then got into his mazda cx suv and then police say that man actually ran over the firefighter, and fled the gas station. >> this is a horrible experience that no fireman, police officer, nobody would ever want to have to go through this. the nice thing is that everybody bands together during these times, and you know, we're one brotherhood. >> reporter: now, cal fire says that albert bartal who is that firefighter is a former marine who spent time in iraq and he has worked for

police say 29-year-old albert bartal was run down after an argument with a man at a jack in the box restaurant on geary street. investigators say the suspect deliberately ran him over a couple of blocks away. he was arrested at his home in south san francisco. >> another police officer that works patrol in san francisco saw this surveillance video that has been out in the media and he recognized the suspect and he had seen him earlier that night in the broadway corridor. >> bartal is being treated at san francisco general hadn't. the -- hospital. the suspect is being held on attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon charges. >>> a reward is being offered for information about an oakland shooting on monday. crimestoppers is offering a $35,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooters. police say it's not clear how many suspects there are but a security camera shows at least three shooters. three of the people shot are listed in critical condition. the child underwent surgery at children's hospital oakland on monday because of swelling in its brain. doct

, it was just yesterday that they released some new surveillance footage that was taken at the jack in a box. at geary and 11th. that's the location where the firefighter and the suspect apparently got into an argument. before the hit-and-run accident. now, as we take a look at that surveillance video, you can see a customer standing at the counter, and he is wearing a white t-shirt with short sleeves, a long t-shirt and that customer is the suspect in this case, for the hit-and-run, a firefighter, albert bartal. we're told the customer and albert got into an argument 2:45 thanksgiving day and the two men had to be separated inside of the restaurant. bartal leaving first. and then the suspect following behind him. now bartal went to a nearby gas station and there is someone who saw the suspect getting into a mazda cx suv or similar type car. police say that suspect then actually intentionally drove, ran over bartal and then fled the scene. >> this is a horrible experience that no fireman, police officer, nobody would ever want to have to go through this. the nice thing is that everybody band
